The Ridge is compatible with multiple legacy brake controller configurations, including both the 6-tooth gear and 3-hole rotor proximity sensor systems used in earlier generations. Instead of relying on fixed pulses-per-revolution hardware, operators can enter the PPR value directly into the HMI, ensuring accurate speed calculation and seamless compatibility with virtually any field setup—past, present, or future.

Operational reliability is further improved by flexible underspeed handling. Operators can fully enable, adjust, or completely disable underspeed protection depending on field requirements, preventing nuisance stops caused by weather conditions, brief power interruptions, or operational cycling. This significantly reduces unnecessary downtime and service calls.
